Production process diagram of optical fiber jumper: cutting optical cables - threading parts - gluing - inserting optical fibers - heating and curing - degumming - grinding - end face inspection - assembly - testing - QA sampling - packaging.

1. Cutting optical cables: The main method is to use aramid scissors to cut the length of the cable according to needs, and then simply pack it.

2. Threading parts: This part mainly involves threading various loose parts onto the optical fiber in advance to facilitate subsequent processes. When threading the wire, the order should be rubber sheath, heat shrink tube, support tube, and spring, and the direction should be checked for correctness.

3. Glue mixing: Mainly by using auxiliary tools to evenly mix partA and partB in 353nd glue in a 10:1 ratio, and minimize bubbles as much as possible.

4. Fiber insertion: First, use a fiber stripping pliers to peel off the outer skin and coating layer of the fiber, and then inject the prepared glue into the tail handle of the insertion core using a needle cylinder or glue dispenser. Next, manually thread the fiber into the inserted core filled with glue and expose some of the fiber.

5. Heating and curing: Place the inserted core of the fiber optic cable into the curing furnace and bake it until the 353nd adhesive is completely cured

6. Degumming: First, use a cutting knife to cut off the excess fiber exposed in front of the cured fiber optic head. Then, install all the fiber optic heads onto the grinding fixture, and then use degumming sandpaper to polish to remove the adhesive from the plug head.

7. Grinding: Grind the fixture after removing the adhesive on a grinding machine, with a general process of 9u 3u 1u 0.05u. The grinding time and pressure are related to the grinding paper.

8. End face inspection: Use an end inspection instrument magnified by 400 times to check the grinding effect of the insert end face. Generally, the end face with black spots and large scratches is considered unqualified and needs to be re ground.

9. Assembly: Assemble the ground plug and loose parts together into a connector, and use crimping pliers or crimping machine to crimp the tail sleeve.

10. Testing: Use an insertion and return loss tester to measure the main data of the fiber head, including insertion loss and return loss. Generally, it is required that the insertion loss of a single mode is less than or equal to 0.3dB, and the return loss is greater than or equal to 50dB. For fiber jumpers with higher requirements, 3D interference testing is required (the main three data are vertex offset, curvature radius, and fiber height).

11. QA spot check: Quality inspectors conduct spot checks on qualified products after testing to control quality.

12. Packaging: Final packaging of qualified products.
